For our tenants we offer services such as online applications and eSignatures for leasing, a robust online portal for making payments, submitting work orders and communicating with the property manager via email and text messaging. For our homeowners, monthly statements, management agreements, and financial reports are made available online for easy filing and reference when tax time comes around.
Our Services
Northstar Property Management, LLC was founded in 2015 as a locally-based property management company in Greenwood, South Carolina with a mission to serve property owners and tenants alike through superior customer service and optimized online tools that provide ease in transactions and communications.
Residential Property Management
We provide management solutions for residential properties. If you own a rental and don't want to deal with paperwork, legal issues, filling vacancies, tenants and more, we've got you covered. Our company is dedicated to helping you achieve your personal and financial goals through effective communication and unparalleled management skills. We are small enough to focus on owner's and tenant's needs quickly without sacrificing quality or price.
Leasing Solutions
We also provide leasing solutions for owners not interested in or ready for outside management. This service includes handling evictions, listing and filling vacancies, and handling applicant screening and all leasing paperwork. All listings are syndicated to multiple well-known rental websites, regardless of which service you choose.
Meet the Owners
Jake and Kim Chapman purchased Northstar in early 2017, after bringing a combined 20+ years of experience in customer service, business, and information technology experience to the company in 2016.
Jake is a licensed Property Manager in Charge in the state of South Carolina and worked in customer service for Velux for 10 years before choosing to serve the community as a City Fireman from 2015-2021. Jake handles the application review, leasing and management agreements, maintenance and other projects for Northstar.
Kim received her MBA in 2015 and continues to serve the community healthcare industry while also managing the finances, communications, and technology for Northstar.
